Our road triathlon is an ITU-style sprint race. It is a technical course that includes a 180 degree, tear drop turn (this will be a controlled section), three 90 degree turns and one sweeping turn. We highly recommend that you do this course on a road bike. TT bikes are permitted, but not optimal.

Swim Course: 400 yards
The swim in beautiful Old Hickory Lake will be a mass start, and consist of one, counter clockwise loop around 4 buoys.
Wetsuits will be allowed in water temps up to 78 degrees.
Bike Course: 10.5 miles
The bike course will be four, super fast, and technical circuit style laps within Lock 4 Park. Each lap will be 2.6 miles and take approximately 7-9 minutes to complete. The best feature of this course is the tear drop turn around Expo Alley where friends, family and fans will be screaming loudly for their favorite athletes.
Run Course: 3 miles
The run will feature a multi-loop course within the park and is made up of 75% hard-packed trail and 20% grass and asphalt.
Wave Start Times:
This will be a mass swim start and will start promptly at 6:45 am.
